The Aveda Institute Denver has combined its Esthiology and Massage Programs into one dual-licensing program- perfect for those wanting to maximize their potential for a career in a spa, health club or clinical environment. This program is divided into three phases and will explore the marriage of skin esthetics and massage.

During the program you will explore:

  • Anatomy
  • Physiology
  • Pathology
  • Facial Massage
  • Skin and Spa Treatments
  • Body Movement Techniques
  • Makeup Application

During your education, you'll also have opportunities to:

  • participate in special education workshops featuring industry leaders
  • learn how to address the individual needs of your guests and provide customized skin care and massage treatments
  • gain real-world experience by performing skin care and massage services on real spa guests with varying needs

Upon completion, you'll be prepared for the Colorado esthiology and MBlex examination and ready to succeed as a licensed esthetician and massage therapist.

Requirements for Licensure:

Colorado: 20 credits in Esthiology and 600 hours in Massage Therapy
